Police in Marshall County, Minnesota received multiple reports from villagers about mysterious low-flying lights. Patrol officer Val Johnson was dispatched to investigate.

As he approached the suspected location, his patrol car was suddenly struck by an intense beam of light. The headlights went out, the engine died, and Johnson lost consciousness. When he woke up, he found the patrol car’s headlights shattered, a dent on the hood, the antenna bent, and the clock showing that he had lost approximately 45 minutes of time. To this day, the incident remains unexplained.
