🧠 UAP 科學研究入門 — 從懷疑到實證嘅分析方法

🧪 Series Articles: UAP Scientific Research
Purpose: Introducing scientific analysis methods for UAP phenomena

Preface

For a long time, UFO/UAP has been labeled as “conspiracy theory” and “pseudoscience.” However, with the U.S. government officially acknowledging the reality of UAP, the scientific community has begun to take this issue seriously.

Data Sources

Modern UAP research relies on data including:

Radar Data

  • Military (AEGIS, SPY-1)
  • Civilian (FAA air traffic control radar, weather radar)
  • Features: Provides precise location, speed, and altitude information

Optical/Infrared

  • Military aircraft FLIR systems (e.g., the Tic Tac video mentioned earlier)
  • Satellite monitoring systems
  • Ground-based telescopes

Sensor Networks

  • Radio frequency monitoring
  • Acoustic sensors
  • Magnetic anomaly detectors
  • Radiation counters

Analysis Methods

Forward Analysis

  1. Data Validation: Confirm sensor data integrity
  2. Cross-Comparison: Verify with multiple independent sources
  3. Eliminate Known Phenomena: Rule out aircraft, drones, balloons, birds, etc., one by one
  4. Physical Modeling: Assess whether object flight performance exceeds human technology

Reverse Analysis

  1. Testimony Credibility Assessment: Witness background, professional training
  2. Collective Sighting Verification: Consistency of descriptions from multiple witnesses
  3. Timeline Reconstruction: Confirm event sequence

NASA UAP Research Team

In 2023, NASA established an independent UAP research team, marking the first time a mainstream scientific institution has formally entered this field. The team’s goal is to develop a systematic method for UAP data collection and analysis.

Challenges

  • Data scarcity: UAP events are difficult to predict
  • Sensor standardization: Different military branches/agencies use different standards
  • Stigma: Scientists still worry that studying UAP could harm their academic reputation

Conclusion

UAP research is gradually moving toward scientific rigor. Although there is still a long way to go before fully understanding these phenomena, at least the current research framework has shifted from “whether to believe” to “how to analyze.”
